Last month, the Gastronomic Union of Tucson brought you a Pre-Columbian/Postmodern dinner featuring the ingredients of the region prior to European presence here.
THE GASTRONOMIC UNION OF TUCSON (GUT), A COLLABORATIVE ENDEAVOR OF SOME OF TUCSON’S BEST-LOVED AND MOST-ACCLAIMED CHEFS AND FOOD PROFESSIONALS, IS THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE ITS WILD WEST DINNER SUNDAY, AUGUST 26TH AT THE CARRIAGE HOUSE. EMBRACING THE SPIRIT OF CREATIVE EXCHANGE THAT HAS GARNERED TUCSON’S UNESCO DESIGNATION AS A WORLD CITY OF GASTRONOMY, THE CHEFS OF GUT ARE OFFERING A 5 COURSE MENU WITH HORS D’OEUVRE AND BEVERAGE PAIRINGS FOR $75. THE MENU FOR THIS EVENT IS INSPIRED BY TUCSON’S FOOD SCENE AT THE END OF THE 19TH CENTURY, WITH INFLUENCES FROM SPANISH AND OTHER EUROPEAN SETTLERS, CHINESE IMMIGRANTS, AND THE INDIGENOUS INHABITANTS OF THIS REGION. THE CARRIAGE HOUSE, LOCATED AT 125 S. ARIZONA AVENUE IN DOWNTOWN TUCSON WILL HOST THE EVENT. HORS D’OEUVRE WILL BEGIN AT 6 PM. SEATING WILL BE LIMITED. RESERVATIONS ARE AVAILABLE HERE: TICKETS
