I was born in Tucson, raised in Nogales, AZ and southern California. Graduated from The Art Institute of California in San Diego, 2005. As a young adult I worked for Disneyland, Pechanga (4 star resort in Temecula, CA), and a few mom and pop places. I made my way back to AZ 10 years ago, at which point I started to work for Casino del Sol, Cheesecake Factory and FRC (Fox Restaurant Concepts). FRC is where I was able to become an executive sous chef, they gave me the opportunity to help with a couple of restaurant openings and trainings, I was with them for 5.5 years. Now I’m chef de cuisine at Loews Ventana Canyon, where I plan to sink my roots in for years to come, given the opportunity.
